Sitges is a beautiful seaside resort about 40 kilometers south of the Catalan Capital, Barcelona. Sophisticated, chic and cool and with more than 300 sunny days per year, Sitges has been described as 'The Jewel in The Mediterranean Crown', a 'Mediterranean Paradise'. It is beautifully nestled between the sparkling blue of the Mediterranean sea and the impressive backdrop of The Garraf Mountains.

Over the centuries, Sitges has grown from a small fishing village to a town that has been home to painters such as  Santiago Rusiñol, Ramon Casas, Miquel Utrillo and Charles Deering, who together with other artists and intellectuals helped sculpt Sitges into the vibrant artistic and cultural centre that it has become today.

Sitges offers 4km of palm-fringed boulevard, 17 sandy beaches and bays, a beautiful marina, a busy festive calender with some truly amazing fiestas, first-rate tourist facilities, sporting activities, dozens of bars, cafes, restaurants and loads of great designer shops.

Sitges is a cosmopolitan town that welcomes visitors from all over the World.  Apart from its beauty, one of the most wonderful things about Sitges is that it has a such a utopian culture where every one is able to relax, be themselves and enjoy living here.

This multi lingual website lists schools, medical centres, transport, and many other links about what Sitges has to offer.
