Over the centuries, Sitges has grown from a small fishing village to a town that has been home to painters such as  Santiago Rusiñol, Ramon Casas, Miquel Utrillo and Charles Deering, who together with other artists and intellectuals helped sculpt Sitges into the vibrant artistic and cultural centre that it has become today.

 

Sitges offers 4km of palm-fringed boulevard, 17 sandy beaches and bays, a beautiful marina, a busy festive calender with some truly amazing fiestas, first-rate tourist facilities, sporting activities, dozens of bars, cafes, restaurants and loads of great designer shops.
